Just a little reminder to everyone, if you’ve got about an hour to spare this Saturday, drop by the Lake Worth beach for the Hands Across the Sand event.

People throughout the world are gathering to join hands and say No! to offshore drilling and a resounding YES! to clean energy alternatives. It’s not about politics, it’s about our environment and our collective livelihood.

From the Hands Across the Sand website, here’s the idea:

STEP 1 Go to the beach at 11 AM in your time zone for one hour, rain or shine.
STEP 2 Join hands for 15 minutes at 12:00 forming lines in the sand against oil drilling in our coastal waters.
STEP 3 Leave only your footprints.
