Yes, I know, I’ve neglected this space for nearly 2 weeks now… give me a break okay?! I get an average of five views a week anyways, hahaha. So to those five people (who may actually be three people with two of you that come back again because you can’t get enough of my lovin’ spoonful) I apologize.
Now, on to some good news. The original creative genius behind Mystery Science Theater 3000 have reunited! They are planning on releasing a new bit of “movie riffing” under their new company, Cinematic Titanic, for the holiday season. I can’t wait to see what Joel and the gang have cooked up since they’ve been off the air.
Also, beginning today after work, I will be jumping into the fray of the National Novel Writing Month for 2007. The premise is not necessarily to craft something great but to actually prove to yourself that you are capable of the output necessary to write a novel. The goal is 50,000 words in the 30 days of November, or about 1667 words a day. Doesn’t sound like much, but trying to keep characters, plot lines and everything else going for that long takes a special kind of person. Finally, I’m going to be testing my mettle after all these years of considering it, to see if I am even capable of a crappy book… haha! wish me luck, I’ll post updates as much as possible.
